The Messy Spot Conditions Of Entry

The Messy Spot is for children aged 2 to 10 years.

SUPERVISE

Children must at all times be in the presence and accompanied by a supervising adult (aged 18 years or over).

This adult is responsible for the supervision, care and safety of the accompanied child(ren) at The Messy Spot.

There must be at least 1 adult supervising no more than 3 children.

Under no circumstances shall an adult leave The Messy Spot with children remaining inside unsupervised.

Toilet facilities are on level 1.  It is recommended that adults take children with them.  Staff will not be held liable for accidents that may occur whilst an adult or child is using the facilities. 

Children must be supervised in the common areas of this building.

PROTECT

Watch your child CONTINUOSLY and STAY CLOSE.

The Messy Spot contains small pieces of craft items, accessories and paint. The likelihood of swallowing and/or choking increases if the child is not being supervised continuously. 

DO NOT ALLOW YOUR CHILD TO PLAY AT THE MESSY SPOT IF THEY ARE STILL PUTTING OBJECTS INTO THEIR MOUTH.

The Messy Spot uses non toxic and child safe materials from reputable suppliers. However, if your child has allergies or sensitive skin, please consider this before entering The Messy Spot and The Messy Spot cannot be held responsible for any allergic reactions or poisoning which may occur.

No outside paint and craft supplies are permitted on these premises. This includes items previously purchased from The Messy Spot.

Some craft activities or food available for consumption may contain wheat, dairy, egg, sulphites, seeds, nuts, soy, artificial colours and flavours.

Do not bring hot beverages purchased from outside vendors into The Messy Spot. Do not leave any food or drink unattended.

Any accident must be immediately reported to a staff member.

BEHAVE

Adults must encourage their children to respect others' personal space and art work creations.

Please no running, yelling or throwing objects.  No pushing furniture around or standing on furniture.

PROPERTY

The Messy Spot cannot be held liable for lost or stolen property so please look after your personal belongings.

The Messy Spot cannot be held liable for damage to personal property for example paint marks on prams, clothing, shoes and accessories.

It is recommended that old clothes, shoes and accessories be worn.

Customers using The Messy Spot play area must sign the log book at the payment counter and the child/ children's names in acceptance of the Conditions of Entry above.  The log book must be signed as a Condition of Entry.
