Party Catering

Depending on your time and budget we have 3 catering options available:

B.  Bring Your Own Food and Drink

A.  The Messy Spot Catering

  • Requires 14 working days notice for all catering orders
  • Table cloths, napkins, plates and cups are provided (not applicable for 'BYO' option below)
  • Gluten Free available - just ask!

      Perfect Party Packs  $11.50 per child

For each child a lovely box containing a sandwich of your choice (cheese, vegemite, honey or jam), decorated mini cup cake, chocolate crackle, savoury snack and juice popper. Purchase minimum is 12 packs.

B. Bring Your Own Food and Drink

Hosts can bring their own party food, birthday cake and drinks. 

If this option is chosen please note that cartage, set up and food and packaging disposal is the complete responsibility of the host.

Important Conditions of BYO Food and Beverage:

1. You must take ALL food and beverage rubbish home with you and dispose of it there and you must NOT place rubbish in any bins or on the street outside The Messy Spot.

Rubbish removal does not apply if The Messy Spot caters your event.

2. Please bring garbage bags to dispose of food waste or garbage bags cost $1.00 each at The Messy Spot. 

3. Left over liquids in cups must be collected in a tub and staff will throw this down the sink. It is not advisable to place liquids in your garbage bag!

4. Please do not bring ice, tins, cans, alcohol or hot drink supplies & equipment (e.g. urns)

5. The Messy Spot will not provide tap water to guests under any circumstance. 

If you do not purchase water from The Messy Spot it is a requirement that you bring water for children and adults attending the party.

If guests request water and water has not been provided for children and adults the host will be charged $1.50 per bottle requested by guest.

Other Information and Tips: 

Remember to refrigerate drinks overnight. We recommend you bring an Esky or cooler bag if you wish to keep them cold at the party. Please no ice. 

Appliances: Birthday cake's including ice-cream cakes keep well in our air conditioned environment.  Please note that a microwave, oven and refrigerator are not available.

Tables & Chairs: Kids craft tables are available to put food on.  We recommend that you bring plastic tablecloths to cover these (tablecloths can also help you create a theme). If you are serving adult food, you are welcome to bring an adult sized table if you feel you need it (e.g. trestle). 

Adult food can also be placed on the craft tables. 

Chairs are available for both children and adults.

Guest Comfort:  Organising furniture for the comfort of the guests is the responsibility of the host.  Please check with staff to ensure that furniture does not interfere with space needed craft activities.

Party Essentials: Remember to bring candles, matches, cake knife, plates, serviettes and other home wares e.g. cheese knives, serving utensils, platters etc.

After the Party: It is a requirement that you take home all left-over food, beverage, decorations, cardboard and other packaging (including cake boxes) and equipment.  

 

C. The Messy Spot Hot and Cold Drinks

Water and Cordial

For children and adults attending the party we can supply unlimited spring water &/or cordial.  Drinks are served in jugs and plastic cups are provided.

12 - 19 people:          $15.00          

20 - 40 people:          $25.00

Espresso Coffee & Tea

You are welcome to have a beverage tab for espresso coffee, tea, herbals, hot chocolate and cold drinks. If you don't have a tab, adults can purchase hot and cold beverages at the counter.
